Bokkos Local Government Chairman Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau Commence Massive Rural Road Rehabilitation in KwatasvWard.

In a statement on Wednesday by the Director of Media and Publicity, Mapis Isaac Marawes, the Executive Chairman of Bokkos LGC, Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau, has officially launched a comprehensive reconstruction and overhaul of the rural road network in several communities within Kwatas Ward of Bokkos LGA.


This initiative aims to unlock the agricultural potential of Kwatas, enhance security interventions in remote areas, and boost rural infrastructural development, all in line with his commitment to preserving and developing Bokkos Heritage.


At the groundbreaking event, the Councillor representing Kwatas Ward, Hon. Monday Damwesh Mabas, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Amalau for prioritizing the needs of his community with this laudable project. He offered prayers for the success of the Amalau-led administration.


Representatives from the host communities, including the Tarangol and Forof traditional councils, also thanked the Chairman for this thoughtful initiative. They pledged to provide the necessary support and cooperation to ensure the successful execution of the project.


In addressing the excited residents of Kwatas Ward, Hon. Amalau reaffirmed his determination, along with the Council, to defend and develop Bokkos. He encouraged the people to remain vigilant about security, emphasizing that the safety of lives and property is a top priority for his administration.


Hon. Amalau urged the people of Kwatas to maintain their faith in the PDP and "The Time is Now" administration of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, highlighting the numerous rural development projects planned for the benefit of Bokkos.


The project will cover areas including Fakkos, Kwatas, Marish, Sabon Barki, Ruboi, Gamajigo, and Maikatako.


Accompanying the Chairman were the Council Secretary, Hon. Mrs Gambo Monday Malau; Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Hon. Luka Yavuruk; Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Hon. Gamat Ndared; several Supervisory Councillors; Special Assistants; and Media Aides.
