Chief Moses Nwan Pays Solidarity Visit to Mr. Yake, a Devoted Follower of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Accompanied by key government officials and stakeholders, Chief Moses Nwan, mini, PhD., reaffirmed his commitment to service and humanity during a visit to Mr. Zaki Yakubu Yake in his hometown of Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi State, on Saturday, September 6. Mr. Yake, a devoted supporter of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, suffered serious injuries in an accident while campaigning on January 10, 2023. He sustained a spinal injury that has significantly impacted his health and livelihood.


During the visit, Chief Nwan met with Mr. Yake and his family, offering solidarity, encouragement, and reassurance. He acknowledged Mr. Yake's significant contributions during the campaign and apologized for the delay in visiting him. Chief Nwan assured the family of ongoing support, particularly regarding Mr. Yake's physiotherapy and recovery.


"You have not been forgotten," Chief Nwan emphasized, noting that the administration of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, values the sacrifices made by its supporters and will continue to stand by them. This assurance was warmly received by Mr. Yake's family, who expressed their joy that the government, which they had supported, was showing concern and solidarity.


Widely recognized as a man of peace, Chief Nwan highlighted the importance of unity, compassion, and accountability in leadership and service. He promised to visit Mr. Yake more regularly to ensure he does not feel neglected. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to Mr. Yake's family, friends, and community members for their resilience and support during his challenging times, assuring them that these difficulties would soon be over.


Accompanying Dr. Nwan on the visit were Hon. Hajiya Jemila Pam, Adviser to the Governor on Religious Matters (Islam); Hon. Kachallom, Special Adviser to the Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area; and Mr. Adoge Yusuf Musa Garga, the immediate past PDP Youth Leader of Mangu Local Government Area.


Chief Nwan, who has consistently demonstrated servant leadership, reiterated his belief and prayer that "with faith, anything is possible." In conclusion, he assured Mr. Yake and his family of the Mutfwang administration's ongoing commitment and support.
