Governor Mutfwang Bewail the Passing of JIBWIS National Deputy Chairman, Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jigir

In a statement on Friday by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Second Deputy National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir. The revered Islamic scholar passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Jos, the Plateau State capital.


In a condolence message, Governor Mutfwang described Sheikh Jingir as a highly respected Islamic scholar who devoted his life to guiding souls towards spiritual enlightenment and upholding moral values within the society.


He noted that Sheikh Jingir was a symbol of wisdom and a beacon of hope, whose life and teachings inspired countless Nigerians. The Governor said his passing is a profound loss not only to his immediate family and JIBWIS but also to the entire nation.


On behalf of his family, the government, and the good people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his deepest condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, JIBWIS, and the entire Muslim Ummah. He prayed for strength, comfort, and divine solace for all who mourn this irreplaceable loss.
