Governor Mutfwang Celebrates Gbong Gwom Jos, His Majesty DavJacob Gyang Buba, OFR, on His 74th Birthday.

In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has joined numerous well-wishers and admirers across the nation and beyond in celebrating the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman, Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, His Royal Majesty, Da (Dr.) Jacob Gyang Buba, OFR, on the auspicious occasion of his 74th birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Mutfwang described His Majesty as an exemplary and visionary traditional ruler whose wealth of experience in both public service and traditional leadership has left an enduring legacy on Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Governor praised the Gbong Gwom Jos for his statesmanship, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to the pursuit of peace, unity, and development across the state. He noted with admiration that His Majesty’s life has been marked by humility, compassion, and an unshakable dedication to the welfare and advancement of his people.

Governor Mutfwang further commended the traditional ruler’s strategic role in promoting community-driven initiatives that have enhanced self-reliance and economic empowerment, as well as his tireless advocacy against drug abuse and youth restiveness.

He also noted that His Majesty’s reign has been defined by fairness, justice, and empathy, virtues that have strengthened inter-community harmony, peace, and understanding within the Plateau family and beyond.
