In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has joined the delegation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on an official state visit to Brazil.

Governor Mutfwang, who was officially invited to the high-profile engagement, was among top Nigerian government officials who received the President at the Air Base reception in Brazil.

As part of the state visit, the Governor will join President Tinubu and other senior officials in a series of bilateral discussions and the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s relations with Brazil and boosting the nation’s economy.

During the visit, President Tinubu is scheduled to hold meetings with the President of the Brazilian Senate at the National Congress, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, and the President of the Supreme Federal Court.

The President will also participate in the Nigeria-Brazil Business Forum, which forms part of a packed programme in Brasília today.

You recall that Plateau was selected recently as one of the 6 states in Nigeria to host the regional hub of the Green Imperative $1.1 billion Project within the Nigeria-Brazil partnership, marking a significant turn in agro-industrialisation for the state and Nigeria at large.
