Governor Mutfwang Mourns the Passing of Long-Pan, HRH NDA Miskagam Emmanuel Dabang, Extends Condolences to the Family and Pan Nation.

In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Long Pan and President of the Qua’an-Pan Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Nda Miskagam Emmanuel Dabang, who died after a protracted illness.


In a heartfelt condolence message, Governor Mutfwang described the death of the revered traditional ruler as a monumental loss not only to his immediate family and the Qua’an-Pan Traditional Council but also to Plateau State and the nation as a whole.


He noted that HRH Nda Miskagam Emmanuel Dabang was a respected voice and a pillar of traditional wisdom, whose selfless contributions to community development and the preservation of Plateau’s cultural heritage will continue to inspire generations to come.


Governor Mutfwang praised the exceptional leadership of the late monarch, describing him as a true custodian of Pan culture who proudly projected the values and traditions of his people.


He further noted that the Long Pan was a symbol of hope and a stabilizing figure in the collective pursuit of peace, unity, and progress across the state. According to the Governor, his legacy remains indelible in the annals of Plateau State’s traditional institution.


On behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Pan Nation over the loss of this iconic traditional ruler. He prayed that God Almighty would grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.
