The recent launching of Agro logistics hub in Plateau State by Governor Caleb Mutfwang is a significant step toward revitalizing the agricultural sector in the the State. This is a round peg in a round hole.

The new initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity by providing essential logistics support, thereby ensuring that farmers can easily access markets and resources. With this initiative, Governor Mutfwang has committed to fostering a more sustainable and thriving agricultural sector, offering farmers the opportunity to maximize their potential. and contribute to the local economy.

The programs are implemented through Agricultural marketing projects (RAAMP), which is a potential and reliable platform that link farmers and their produce to viable markets. The central markets are situated in Mangu, Shendam, Jingir, for Central, Southern and Northern zones of the State respectively. When completed, it will transform the agricultural exchange and do away with the barriers between farmers and marketplace.

This marks a brighter future for farming in Plateau State, as stakeholders join head's together to support the agricultural community.
