In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the General Manager of the Plateau State Tourism Corporation, Hon. Chuwang Pwajok, his siblings, and the entire Pwajok family on the passing of their revered father, Da Pwajok Nyam Shom, who peacefully transitioned at the age of 88.

In a solemn condolence message, Governor Mutfwang paid glowing tribute to the late Da Pwajok, describing him as a man of deep faith, integrity, and selfless service. He noted that the departed patriarch led a life marked by unwavering devotion to God, profound wisdom, and compassionate leadership, values that not only shaped his immediate family but also inspired many within the broader community.

Governor Mutfwang acknowledged that reaching the age of 88 is a testament to divine grace and a life well-lived. He praised the late elder for his strength of character and resilience in raising a generation of God-fearing, purpose-driven children who continue to contribute meaningfully to governance and the development of society.

He further stated that the loss of Da Pwajok leaves a deep void, particularly at a time when voices of moral authority, such as his, are most needed in the pursuit of peace, unity, and justice across Plateau State and the nation.

Governor Mutfwang emphasized that the passing of this respected community leader is not only a loss to the Pwajok family and the Berom Nation, but to the entire Plateau community and Nigeria as a whole, given the enduring legacy of integrity, humility, and service that he leaves behind.

On behalf of his family, the government, and the good people of Plateau State, the Governor offered his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that God Almighty would grant them comfort, strength, and peace during this period of mourning.
