Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau Receives Siken Cottage Hospital Medical Logistics in Register of the Brand New Toyota Hilux Van Donated to them by Plateau State Hospital Management Board

In a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity, Mapis Isaac Marawes, the Plateau State Hospitals Management Board, Jos, played host to a significant occasion on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
The Bokkos Local Government Council Executive Chairman, *Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau,* received a substantial donation to support the *recently commissioned Cottage Hospital, Siken* in Kulere Chiefdom.
The Chief Medical Director of Plateau State Hospitals Management Board, *Dr. Benjamin Sumi Garkuwa,* formally handed over the donated items to Hon. Amalau's representative, Hon. Luka Yavuruk, the Chairman's Chief of Staff.
The donation included:
- A brand-new Toyota Hilux Van
- A scanner
- A printer
- An ultrasound machine
- A desktop computer
- Other medical logistics to boost medical services at the Cottage Hospital, Siken
Dr. Garkuwa emphasized the importance of ensuring the appropriate utilization of the donated van and medical logistics at the Cottage Hospital.
Hon. Amalau, through his Chief of Staff, expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor, the Commissioner for Health, and the CMD, Plateau State Hospitals Management Board, for the precious gifts. He acknowledged the positive impact these donations would have on healthcare services in Kulere Chiefdom.
While appreciating the donation, Hon. Amalau requested additional support for the Cottage Hospital, Siken, to guarantee affordable and quality healthcare services in the area.
This request underscores the council's commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for the community.
