In a decisive move toward strengthening the economic prospects of Plateau State, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. P.A. Daffi, convened a strategic meeting with key stakeholders at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) headquarters in Lagos.

The meeting centered on advancing operational and legal frameworks crucial for the development and activation of the Jos Cargo Airport, a flagship project aimed at positioning Plateau State as a central hub for logistics and agricultural exports.

Hon. Daffi emphasized the Ministry of Justice’s unwavering support for creating a robust legal and regulatory environment that encourages investment and facilitates smooth operations in line with national aviation standards.

The meeting signals the determination of the "The Time is Now" Government to align Plateau’s aviation and export ambitions with national infrastructure and global trade standards.

The discussions underscored the importance of legal facilitation and compliance mechanisms to ensure that the Jos Cargo Airport meets both local and international expectations.

As Plateau State continues its drive to enhance infrastructure and attract strategic partnerships, today’s engagement marks a significant step in laying the legal foundation for sustainable economic transformation.
