Plateau State PDP Commend Governor Mutfwang Over 63 Billion Naira Debt Reduction.

In a statement by it Public Relations Officer, Hon. Jonathan Amande on 5th May 2025, the Peoples Democratic Party has expressed commendation to the people's Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his relentless efforts in reducing the state's debt profile from N134 billion to N94 billion according to Nigeria Domestic debt in less than two years in office.

This giant stride is a step in the right direction, which will allow the state to breathe from the wasteful cumulative burden of the last administration without any tangible development to better the lot of the Plateau people.

The PDP family is proud of the fiscal responsibility drive of Governor Caleb Mutfwang towards improving the state's financial status, especially with the internal revenue generation performance in the last two years.

PDP also observes keenly the show of shame by APC Stakeholders for snubbing Puuskat, Nzem Berom and Ilum O'Tarok cultural festivals. This reflects a broader pattern of neglect towards critical voices within the state for the unity of Plateau people.

The PDP family commends Governor Caleb Mutfwang for Renaissance and gracing some of these cultural festivals as a mark of honour to the various cultural nations. The PDP looks forward to the state festival of art and culture that will bring together all the cultural festivals in unison.

The PDP calls on the people of Plateau State to intensify prayers for the well-being of the Governor, peace, stability and security of the state.

The party urges citizens of the state to support the ongoing roads projects spread across the state, peace initiative and government programs aimed at addressing the plight of the people.
