…As Governor Mutfwang condoles with JIBWIS on the passing of Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir.
In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus-Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Muhammad Sani Yahaya Jingir, has commended the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his commitment to fostering peace, unity, and inclusive governance across the state.
Sheikh Yahaya Jingir made this commendation on Monday when Governor Mutfwang paid a condolence visit to him and the JIBWIS leadership following the passing of their Second Deputy National Chairman, Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir.
Describing Governor Mutfwang as a visionary leader, a symbol of tolerance, and a beacon of hope, Sheikh Jingir lauded the governor’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of the less privileged.
He emphasized that Governor Mutfwang's leadership has not only promoted peaceful coexistence but has also reinforced citizens’ confidence in governance through inclusive policies and infrastructural development.
He further called on political leaders, both in and out of office, to embrace unity and support the administration of Governor Mutfwang in strengthening the prevailing peace and harmony in Plateau State.
He also urged collective backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government in order to foster national stability and improve the standard of living for all Nigerians.
Expressing gratitude to Governor Mutfwang for embracing all segments of society, Sheikh Jingir acknowledged the state government’s commitment to infrastructural development and policies that promote trust and cooperation among the people.
Earlier, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the JIBWIS leadership and the entire Muslim Ummah over the demise of Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir.
He paid tribute to the late Islamic scholar, recognizing his invaluable contributions to unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence across the country. The governor encouraged the Muslim community to uphold Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir’s legacy of fairness, justice, and compassion.
Governor Mutfwang further appreciated the steatfast support of JIBWIS and the Muslim community in Plateau State toward his administration’s efforts to promote good governance. He reassured them of his commitment to inclusive leadership in order to ensure that every citizen is carried along in the state’s developmental agenda.
