As Governor of Plateau State for seventeen months, he implemented several notable policies and programs that contributed to the development of the state:
Governor Mutfwang oversaw major investments in Plateau State road network, building and rehabilitating key arterial roads and bridges. This will for a very long time help to alleviate chronic traffic congestion and improved connectivity within the state.

It is indeed commendable, An innovative solution from someone who has a clear vision for the state and has the citizens at heart because the vision behind it is to provide a cost-effective alternative for the citizens to move around the city.
Because of his poised to make Plateau clean, beautiful and more organized, Plateau State Governor through Plateau Environmental and Sanitary Agency (PEPSA), enforced environmental regulations, waste management practices and sanitation standard in the city center and the seventeen local government areas of the State, this policy has recorded a remarkable progress as it has drastically reduced pollution and flooding within the state.
The Governor's engagements with several business communities and associates within and outside the country was a move to better the future of the State. His administration has been working tirelessly to create a more favorable business environment, which will help to attract significant private sector investment and promote economic growth in the state.
